The Stubborn Dog
GUILTY! Admittedly, I have used this excuse in past Obedience training when my dog refused to follow my commands. Thank goodness my dog is a forgiving breed! I believe this article points out the importance of establishing a bond with our pets. Positive reinforcement is the right tool to use to build trust & reliability if we expect our dogs to understand & perform their best.
